Gazagnaire Beach and its new pedestrian promenade

Public beach stretching from Pointe Croisette to the small port of Mouré Rouge. It is entirely in fine sand. It is a free and family beach frequented by Cannes residents.

Free parking at Palm Beach at the entrance to the beach. It is bordered by the new pedestrian and cycling promenade.

Gazagnaire Beach at sunset

At the end of the day, Gazagnaire Beach takes on a completely different atmosphere. The sun sets over the bay and the Estérel mountains, casting beautiful colours across the Mediterranean.

It’s a wonderful time to stroll along the seafront, enjoy an aperitif while watching the sunset, or simply linger a little longer on the beach.

3 seafront restaurants on Gazagnaire Beach

From the most upscale to the most affordable:


Le Mouré Rouge – Set right on the sand, with a superb view of the sea. A wonderful spot for a romantic dinner for two overlooking the Mediterranean.


Le Duplex – Located just across from the beach, on the other side of Boulevard Gazagnaire. Good, creative cuisine in a pleasant setting.


La Pomme d’Api – A simple and welcoming place for lunch or dinner at reasonable prices, with a view of the sea.

Bijou Plage Beach

The public sandy beach Bijou-Plage is located just before the Palm-Beach coming from the center of Cannes, after Port Pierre Canto. Composed of two coves of sand, this beach at the end of the Croisette is gently sloping which makes swimming easier for the little ones.

Slightly away from the road, we appreciate the calm of this beach. The environment is pleasant, with the Lérins Islands in sight.

Note that you can rent pedal boats and find something to eat (guinguette on the Croisette or beach restaurants). The beach is supervised in season and there is a non-smoking area.

Between the two handles, there is a pontoon where you can install your towel. One of the good plans in Cannes!

Bijou Plage – free public beach area

A gently sloping beach, ideal for families with children, who can play safely away from traffic thanks to the large wall separating the beach from the promenade and the gardens along La Croisette.


On sunny winter days, it is not unusual to enjoy the beach in a swimsuit — even at Christmas!

Bijou Plage – Private Beach

With its well-regarded restaurant, Bijou Plage is a lovely spot for lunch or dinner by the water, just a 5-minute walk from Le Fettolina, or simply for a drink while watching the sunset.
Watch out for the seagulls — they won’t hesitate to swoop down and steal your snacks straight from the table!

Accessible Beach (Handiplage) at Bijou Plage, at the end of La Croisette

A beautiful, fully accessible beach with excellent facilities for guests with reduced mobility:
Just a 5-minute walk from Le Fettolina.
Around a 10-minute drive from Le Saint Georges.
A few accessible parking spaces are available directly in front of the beach, with additional spaces in a free car park 200 metres away for holders of a disabled parking permit.
